Support key continuous improvement based initiatives and projects to improve product performance in line with customer needsPrinciple Responsibilities:Key Functions:· Visit to customers to understand / study the product applications.· Work closely with Plant / R&D for new product development related to Industry & provide key inputs on product application and performance measurement to Plant / R&D.· Be a key member of CFT to review of design and development of planning, input, output, product verification etc.· Coordinate with R&D /QA to ensure the standards of processes from R&D point of view to meet the customers’ requirements.· Responsible for developing vendors for product development related activities· Understanding the customers’ expectations and strategically thinking the implementation thereof.· Liaise with customers and suppliers where necessary (where impacting / affected by quality issues).· Co-ordiante technical liaison to inform customers of new types, specifications and end uses of products.· To analyze the customer complaints and address the same keeping quality standards and R&D norms in place.· To initiate the corrective actions immediately to set the product right.· To chalk out & implement the plan for preventing the defects in the products and ensuring the right.· Carrying out the customer feedback / survey to improve the processes and exceeding the customers’ expectations· To review of competitors sample analysis test report.· Improvement in existing process to improve productivity & Quality of the product to meet the customer requirements· Provide technical support to Marketing, Plant, and Project department.· Maintain regular contact with the sales and production functions to keep abreast of any developments in product and services.· Maintain an awareness of developments in the field of R&D to ensure that tihe Company continues to compete effectively.· Work to source activitiesPreparation of inspection plant for new products.· Development of new vendors.· Establish and maintained necessary communication strategy for the improvement and awareness of quality issues across all departments.· A key member for ensuring to maintain Quality Management System (ISO) in the organization· Ensure customer concerns are met by conducting periodical audits.· Coordinate with plant for compliance of customer audits.· Training of subordinates & other employees across the factory towards the improvement through conducting training.· Any other job in line with management requirements from time to time
